Privacy Policy
Squishu has no accounts, no ads, no analytics, and no tracking, and we don't run a server for it. Everything the game knows about you stays on your devices, apart from what you send to Apple's Game Center and App Store, described below.
Data stored on your device
Your game progress (stages, coins, crumbs, Squishus, cosmetics, stickers), your daily round results and streak, and your settings are stored on your device. We never receive them. Deleting the app removes them.
Reminders
If you allow notifications, Squishu schedules reminders on your device. To time and word them for you, it keeps a few notes on your device: the hours you usually start playing, how much time you spend in each mode, whether you opened recent reminders, and which boss last got away. These notes never leave your device. You can turn reminders off in Settings › Notifications › Squishu.
Widgets and Apple Watch
Widgets read a short summary of your game (streak, stage, steamer) that the app saves on your device. The Apple Watch app exchanges that summary, pictures of your dumpling, and your watch rounds directly with your iPhone using Apple's Watch Connectivity. None of it goes through us.
Game Center
If you're signed in to Game Center, Squishu sends your scores (daily score, best score, highest stage, and best combo) and the stickers you earn to Apple's Game Center under your Game Center profile. Squishu also reads where you rank, overall and among your Game Center friends. Apple handles this data under its own privacy policy, and we don't receive your Apple Account details. You can sign out in Settings › Game Center.
Purchases
Purchases are made and billed by Apple. The app confirms them with Apple on your device. We never see your name, email address, or payment details.
Sharing
When you tap Share, Squishu makes a picture and a short summary of your result and hands them to the share sheet. Nothing is sent unless you choose where it goes.
Crash reports
If you've chosen to share analytics with app developers in your device settings, Apple may send us anonymous crash and performance reports. Squishu doesn't collect anything else.
What we don't do
- We don't show ads or use advertising identifiers.
- We don't track you across other apps or websites.
- We don't sell or share your data.
Children
Squishu is suitable for all ages and doesn't collect personal information from anyone, including children. Purchases require an Apple Account and follow Apple's parental controls, such as Ask to Buy.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the effective date above.
